Enterprising Agriculture for all, is the way to go in 2025, this counsel intends to Promote Inclusive Participation of Women, girls, men, and boys or small-scale farming individual(s) / groups to shift from subsistence to commercialized Agribusiness for sustainable food security and improved household livelihoods. This is a humble call for all initiatives in the thematic area of creating a free hunger zone in Uganda and Africa at large to enhance the capacities of small farmers to actively participate in agribusinesses and value chain development processes.

According to the assessment conducted by Eden Produce Africa indicates that 85% of the farmers in farming communities are less informed about climate change issues. Additionally, due to the agricultural forecast information gap in some communities in Uganda, farmers face a lot of barriers to accessing quality agricultural inputs, markets, financial support services, post-harvest handling, and management techniques and sometimes are self-restricted to less profitable agricultural activities.

Therefore, Eden Produce Africa (EPAFARM) encourages the private sector, investors, NGOs, and all stakeholders to meaningfully embrace an inclusive participatory approach of all women, girls, men, and boys to fully involve themselves in the agricultural sector to register a concretized financial transformation and a comprehensive livelihood shift of our Ugandan farmers by 2025.
